USING TURTLETV

Terms of Use.

Effective October 14, 2026 · Last updated October 14, 2026

These Terms apply to the TurtleTV website, mobile apps, Watch Tokens page, and TurtleTV Watch Party Chrome extension. They explain what you can expect from the service and what we ask of you.

1. Using TurtleTV

TurtleTV (“we,” “us”) provides tools for watching together, communicating, and managing Watch Tokens. By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. Questions can be sent to turtletv.app@gmail.com.

You must meet the minimum age stated in our Privacy Policy and any higher age required by law. If you cannot legally agree to these Terms on your own, a parent or guardian must agree on your behalf and supervise your use. You must also meet the age requirements of any streaming service you use.

2. Accounts and guest access

You can use guest access where offered. You are responsible for keeping your account, device, sign-in links, and party invitations secure, and for providing accurate account information. Do not use another person's account without permission.

Guest accounts are tied to stored account information. Clearing browser or app data, changing browsers, or reinstalling may make an unlinked guest account and its tokens inaccessible. Sign in before relying on access across devices. Different accounts may have separate balances and purchases.

3. Streaming services and content

TurtleTV synchronizes playback; it does not provide a streaming subscription or grant rights to films, shows, music, or videos. Each participant is responsible for having lawful access to the selected content and complying with the streaming service's terms, regional restrictions, and subscription requirements.

Do not use TurtleTV to bypass access controls, digital-rights protections, payment requirements, or content restrictions. Share only content and links you are entitled to share. Supported services and features vary by platform and may change when third-party services change. TurtleTV is independent of the streaming services shown on the site; their names and marks belong to their respective owners.

4. Party conduct and your content

Be respectful of other participants. Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, spam, share unlawful or exploitative content, disclose someone else's private information without permission, or interfere with the security or operation of the Services. Do not record or redistribute another person's voice or messages without the permission required by law.

You retain your rights to the content you contribute. You give us permission to process, store, transmit, and display it as needed to provide the features you choose and address safety reports. You are responsible for having the necessary rights to that content. We may remove content or restrict access to address abuse, security concerns, legal obligations, or violations of these Terms.

5. Watch Tokens and rewarded ads

Watch Tokens are account-bound credits for TurtleTV features. They are not money, cryptocurrency, or a financial product. They cannot be sold, transferred to another person, or redeemed for cash. They do not pay for a third-party streaming subscription.

The current watch-time rate, reward amount, and refill eligibility are shown in the Services and explained in the Watch Tokens guide. Availability can vary. Rewarded ads are optional and offered only where available. The action and reward are disclosed before you choose an ad. Closing before the reward is earned does not qualify for that reward; completed qualifying rewards are credited after confirmation. Contact support if a confirmed reward is missing.

Do not automate ad viewing, generate invalid traffic, exploit reward errors, or manipulate balances. We may correct erroneous or fraudulently obtained credits. Changes to token rules will be communicated where required and will not override applicable consumer rights.

6. Premium, billing, and cancellation

Premium provides the benefits listed for the plan you choose. Prices, billing periods, renewal terms, applicable taxes, and any trial or promotional conditions are presented before purchase. Benefits can differ between mobile and Chrome. Premium does not remove ads or subscription requirements imposed by YouTube, Netflix, or other streaming services.

A recurring subscription renews according to the terms shown at checkout unless cancelled through the provider that bills you. Manage Apple purchases through Apple, Google Play purchases through Google Play, and web purchases through the applicable web billing portal. The extension's Manage subscription action can open the appropriate destination. See subscription help.

Uninstalling TurtleTV, signing out, or requesting account deletion does not itself cancel a subscription. Cancellation generally stops future renewal; the provider shows when access ends. Refunds and any withdrawal rights depend on applicable law and the purchase provider's policies. For a web purchase issue, contact us. If your account has a nonrecurring Lifetime entitlement, there is no recurring subscription to cancel; the terms shown for that purchase apply.

7. Privacy and permissions

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle information and how to exercise privacy choices. Enable your microphone only when you want to transmit audio. Party participants can see the information you share through party features. Third-party streaming, sign-in, payment, and advertising services have their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Availability and updates

Use requires compatible devices, software, and internet access. You are responsible for network and roaming charges. Beta features may be incomplete or change, and playback can be affected by buffering, advertisements, regional availability, or changes to a streaming site. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every device, title, or subscription tier.

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features, and you may need to install updates to continue using them. We will provide notice of material changes where required. Any paid-service remedies required by law remain available.

9. Intellectual property and responsibility

TurtleTV's software, branding, and original materials belong to us or our licensors. We give you a limited right to use the Services for their intended purpose while you comply with these Terms. Do not copy, resell, redistribute, or misuse our software or branding without permission, except as allowed by law or an applicable open-source license.

To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided as available, without a promise that they will be error-free or meet every need. We are not responsible for losses caused by third-party service outages or your misuse of the Services to the extent the law permits that limitation. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Ending use, changes, and contact

You may stop using TurtleTV at any time. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated violations, fraud, security risks, or legal requirements. Where appropriate, we will explain the action and how to contact us about it; urgent safety or security action may come first.

We may revise these Terms and will post the updated version and date here. We will provide further notice or seek agreement when required. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
